VCBC members gain access to its proprietary website which allows members to participate in discussion forums (including an active jobs forum), register for upcoming events, access a searchable directory of members, create surveys for the group, participate in our annual compensation survey, and collaborate with other members via e-mail. In addition, members can access numerous documents such as: presentations from VCBC events, a directory of venture-related web sites, reports and service providers referred by their peers.
VCBC also sponsors for its members various luncheons, seminars and social events, with approximately five events each year in the Palo Alto/Silicon Valley area and three events each year in San Francisco. VCBC charges a nominal fee for attendance.
Our membership year runs from April 1st to March 31st and dues are $225 per member, payable either by check or credit card through a secure third-party website. We do not pro-rate these annual dues. Once we receive your completed membership application, we will confirm that you are eligible for membership, and will email you a link to access the members-only website. If you are not eligible for membership, any dues collected will be refunded to you.
